CUSTOM HOME PAINTING

There are three stages of custom home painting.
1. Drywall priming;
2. Painting;
3. Paint touch-ups;
1) Drywall priming:
After drywall and taping is complete, our turn comes up. We roll all walls and spray all corners. We spray the ceiling and back-roll to ensure a smooth finish.
2) Painting:
Depending on the size of the house and the agreement with the builder - whether they finish all flooring, vanities, and the kitchen or just the woodwork such as doors, casings, and wainscoting - the painting procedures typically begin 1-3 months later. The process starts by covering all finished items such as tiles and flooring. Next, we sand the drywall and make most of the necessary repairs. Then, we prepare the woodwork by patching and caulking joints. We also cover windows, door hinges, and other areas that need protection. We start by spraying the woodwork with primer and while it dries, we begin ceiling spray painting and back-rolling. After that, we sand and spray two coats of finish coat on the woodwork. Finally, we apply two coats of wall painting.
3) Paint touch-ups:
After completing the painting stage, we pack our tools and leave the site. We return after other trades such as electricians, plumbers, carpenters, and millwork finish their work. The duration of this period usually varies between 1 to 2 weeks. During this time, we fix any damages to the casings, walls, ceilings, and other areas that may have occurred during the other trades' work. We recommend doing a first cleaning at this stage to identify any minor repairs that need to be done. If we have stairs in our scope of work, we also perform staining at this stage. After the final cleaning, we come back for final touch-ups to ensure that everything is perfect.
We always try to communicate with builders to ensure that procedures go smoothly and that we are on the same page. Even when we are not performing work on the project, we always visit the job site to monitor progress and make our schedules accordingly. We understand that homeowners or investors are eager to move in or sell their property, so we don’t want to cause any delays on our part."
